Pulled into an auto zone and the codes read P1299 (Cylinder Head Over-temperature Protection Active) and P0299 (Turbo/Supercharger Under-boost). The autozone guy told me he thinks they did something because apparently the engine needs to be moved slightly to get to the Transmission.
I saw the posts regarding the 2013 Escape having this issue but since I'm new here I'm not sure how to do a search for any 2014 known issues.
